Law on Promoting Green Purchasing
On May 24, 2010 “Law Concerning the Promotion of Procurement of Eco-Friendly Goods and Services by the State and Other Entities” (Law on Promoting Green Purchasing) was legislated. (proclaimed on May 31, 2010, law 100th in 2010)
This law imposes obligations on the State, independent administrative institutions etc. to practice Green Purchasing, encourage local governments, businesses, and citizens to procure eco-friendly goods and have the State provide effectual information on eco-friendly products.
