Mould-made (hand-made style cylinder mould) and with four deckled edges. Arches is one of the top paper brands in the world and has three available surface textures: hot-pressed (satine), cold-pressed (fin), and rough (torchon). It absorbs water exceptionally well and produces great color like none other. Each sheet is permeated with sizing solution using the tub sizing method.
Because of this, Arches is strong enough to handle additional brush strokes after a wash and handles watercolor techniques such as scratching without damage to the surface. Arches Watercolor papers are available in various weights and sizes.
